DEC 14 2026 6:30PM: Italian-ish Winter Feast - Hands On
Available in stock (16)
Winter is the season for long, cozy dinners with good friends, and this menu brings a playful twist to the table. Rooted in Italian flavors but not bound by tradition, it combines rustic Italian techniques with bold seasonal ingredients for a feast that’s as creative as it is comforting. Join Chef Za for an “Italian-ish” winter dinner party menu designed to impress your guests and warm up the coldest nights of the year.
This class is about mastering the techniques behind an elegant, seasonal dinner party. Chef Za guides you through searing lamb chops to a perfect medium-rare and glazing them with a rich balsamic reduction, chopping a bright, fresh gremolata, and puréeing cauliflower and parsnips into a silky, velvety side. You’ll also learn to massage kale for a tender salad, balance a homemade fig vinaigrette, and bake a moist olive oil cake topped with vanilla bean Chantilly cream. Whether you’re hosting a holiday dinner or a cozy winter gathering, you’ll leave with a complete seasonal menu and the confidence to entertain with ease.
What’s on the Menu:
- Balsamic Glazed Lamb Chops with Mint Gremolata: The star of the evening. Tender lamb chops are seared to perfection and glazed with a rich, tangy balsamic reduction, then topped with a bright, fresh mint gremolata that cuts through the richness with every bite.
- Seasonal Kale, Apple & Pomegranate Salad with Fig Vinaigrette: A vibrant winter salad. Hearty kale is tossed with crisp apple and jewel-like pomegranate seeds, then finished with a sweet, tangy homemade fig vinaigrette.
- Cauliflower and Parsnip Purée: Silky, creamy, and subtly sweet. Cauliflower and parsnips are cooked until tender and whipped into a luxurious purée, a lighter, elegant alternative to mashed potatoes and the perfect base for lamb.
- Pumpkin Olive Oil Cake with Vanilla Bean Chantilly & Candied Ginger: A moist, tender cake with warm pumpkin spice flavor and the richness of olive oil, topped with clouds of vanilla bean Chantilly cream and a sparkle of spicy-sweet candied ginger.
The evening ends with the best part: sitting down to enjoy the winter feast you’ve made, from glazed lamb chops to the last bite of pumpkin olive oil cake. Come hungry; this is the coziest winter dinner party in Atlanta.
