These shellers zip open seafood shells, remove veins, and retrieve the meat from inside. The claw shape unzipes shells without crushing delicate meat inside while the pointed tip deveins and retrieves meat from tight areas.  Just slide the claw end under the shell and use an up and down motion.  Makes preparing shellfish recipes, peeling and eating shrimp, and crab dishes easy.
